Dr. Simon Dobson

Clinical Associate Professor and Program Director, Division of Infectious and Immunological Diseases, Department of Pediatrics, University of British Columbia

Dr. Simon Dobson trained in Pediatrics in the United Kingdom and in Pediatric Infectious Diseases at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. He is a Clinical Associate Professor at the University of British Columbia, an attending physician in Pediatric Infectious Diseases at BC Children's Hospital and has been Director of the Infectious Disease Fellowship Program since 1991.

His research interest include clinical vaccine trials, especially in the pre-teen and adolescent age group, and vaccine adverse events.

He works at the Vaccine Evaluation Centre of BC Children's Hospital and is a member of the National Advisory Committee on Immunization.
